My name is Mehrad. I am based in Parramatta Sydney. I became interested in photography as a hobby in 2016. At that time, I liked hiking and going outdoors in my free time, so I started shooting in the landscape photography genre. in 2020 I began studying Certificate IV of Photography and Imaging in Ultimo. my great and passionate teachers helped me to expand my knowledge and inspired me to continue to study for the Diploma. As I traveled more and started shooting the beautiful beaches in the NSW region, I started to shoot more specific subjects, I had a change of interest in photographic genres and I began shooting in a more specific Sub-genre which is Abstract/Fine art. Currently, I am studying Diploma in photography in Ultimo TAFE which I  finished in 2022.
My portfolio is about the exploration of shapes, forms, lines, tones, and textures in nature, captured and presented in an abstract manner that connects with the viewer through observation and contemplation with feelings like mystery, peace, curiousness, vagueness, uncountable, unreal, and serenity. My goal is to make the audience’s imagination and mind itself, to form the meaning. I achieve this through abstraction: By trying to utilize the basic elements of design to compose my subject in a way that strips away unwanted features that convey explicit meaning or objective facts.
